The sculpture, carved from a single tree trunk, measures 12.286 meters long, 3.075 meters high and 2.401 meters wide (40.308 x 10.088 x 7.877 ft).
It took artist Zheng Chunhui four years to complete the piece, which is based off of the 900 year old Chinese painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival.
