The Bridge on Wheels of Saint Malo, France

This bridge, built in 1873 by the architect Alexandre Leroyer (1827-1886), allowed to connect Saint-Malo and Saint-Servan.
It consisted of a platform placed on a 10 meters high structure traveling on a railway, it was pulled from one side to the other by an engine placed on the dock.
50 people could take place on board for the voyage which lasted two minutes.
It was destroyed in 1922 by the sinking of a vessel caused by a storm.
